Wow, I went to see Australia last night. What a film! I don’t give a stuff what the critics think (The Guardian was particularly bad), I loved it. Yes, sure, it’s overblown and melodramatic, but it’s moving and epic too.

But the best bit is Hugh Jackman. Someone had told me he’d been voted sexiest man of the year before I went to see it, but I’d never heard of him. Wow! I’m now going to make up for lost time. I’ve checked the internet and am going to rent the entire Jackman back catalogue from LOVEFiLM! I’ve just spotted a discount code for 30 days’ free rental, so that’s me sorted for January.

I’ll start with Deception, move on to The Prestige and move on to Woody Allen’s Scoop. I might skip Happy Feet, as that’s just his voice!
