can’t believe Christmas Day is all over. There is always so much hype running up to it and I always end up getting the Boxing Day Blues. What did cheer me up for a few seconds this morning though was reading the Telegraph article about the ‘Lipstick effect’. Apparently the sales of cosmetics is rising. We women are cheering ourselves up in the financial crisis by treating ourselves to smaller gifts, instead of splurging out on extravagant luxuries …aw bless!

I am getting itchy feet to do a bargain hunt in the sales today, but not sure I can brave the crowds. My dilemma is to either go into town and try and find bargains while fighting with other shoppers OR sit at home with a glass of wine and chocolates, be spoon fed the best bargains by Everydaysale.co.uk and shop to my heart’s desire – I may even squeeze in another glass of wine…um home is it…
